Chesapeake WILD Grant Webinar

January 24 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free
Join us and learn about Chesapeake WILD, one of the newest conservation funding programs that aims to accelerate direct on-the-ground conservation, stewardship, and enhancements of fish and wildlife habitats and related conservation values in the Bay watershed, while also enhancing the capacity of local and regional partners to implement future on the ground actions through community-based assessment planning, design, and other technical assistance-oriented activities. Chesapeake WILD is a grant program co-administered by National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and US Fish and Wildlife Service, and staff from both NFWF and USFWS will be available to speak about the program and answer questions in advance of the next grant round.

The Rappahannock River Roundtable is a 2024 recipient of a Chesapeake WILD grant to “Build Collaborative Capacity for Conservation and Public Access in the Rappahannock River.” The project will host a series of strategic planning workshops and partner meetings.
