Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) Diversity Workgroup – Capacity Building and Technical Assistance Workshop

The Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) Diversity Workgroup is inviting you to a four-part virtual workshop series focused on building capacity for equitable grant funding in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Registration is now open for the virtual workshop series designed to help improve awareness about equitable funding challenges, best practices, experiences of under-resourced communities, and strategies for funders to measure their progress in improving equity in grant making.

The Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) Diversity Workgroup is focused on efforts to improve diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) in their grant programs and under– resourced organizations that are seeking funding.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss how to shift the role of funders to facilitator-collaborator based with under represented organizations. Examples include revising assumptions, reviewer bias, examples and templates, and one stop shops.
