The Rappahannock River Roundtable is pleased to continue our “Ask the Expert” series! These discussions are led by Roundtable partners and other leaders who are willing to share their expertise about various conservation topics that impact the Rappahannock River watershed and our collective goals.
This discussion will be led by Molly O’Liddy with the Virginia Department of Forestry and will provide an overview on two grant programs offered by the Virginia Department of Forestry to support tree planting projects and related planning, studies, and community efforts. These include the Trees for Clean Water grant program and the Urban and Community Forestry grant program. These grants are offered annually and are available to municipalities, planning districts, soil and water conservation districts, schools, homeowners associations, non-profits, and more.
Please share with your networks and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday January 12, 2021
