Don’t miss the Trees For Shade Technical Workshop and Field Day at Graves Mill Farm on Friday, February 21st! This informative event will feature presentations from Trees for Graziers, American Farmland Trust, and Friends of the Rappahannock, providing valuable insights into sustainable land management and tree planting for grazing systems.
This event is primarily focused on producers and technical partners in the Rappahannock region, but the Trees for Shade program and resources are also available for those in both the York and Rappahannock River basins. Attendees will also experience a hands-on demonstration project, showcasing practical techniques for tree planting and care. A complimentary lunch will be provided to all participants.
Additionally, if you are interested, the Woods & Wildlife Conference will take place on Saturday, February 22. Limited overnight housing is available for anyone traveling accommodated on behalf of the Roundtable.
