The Rappahannock River Roundtable is pleased to continue our “Ask the Expert” series! These discussions are led by Roundtable partners and other leaders who are willing to share their expertise about various conservation topics that impact the Rappahannock River watershed and our collective goals.
This discussion will be led by Caitlin Carey with Virginia Tech’s Conservation Management Institute and focus on new and emerging issues and research surrounding freshwater mussels in the Rappahannock River watershed. We have critical area habitat designations, pilot projects, sampling and monitoring projects, and a lot of opportunity to learn more about these important bivalves!
Please share with your networks and we look forward to seeing you on February 9, 2022!
