These updated templates are now available on the DEQ website. These updated templates are crucial for ensuring consistency across all applications. We encourage you to disseminate this information to your local agricultural producers. Please also discontinue use of any existing templates.

NFWF Grant Funding Announcement

Friends of the Rappahannock, on behalf of the Rappahannock River Roundtable is delighted to announce that it has received a $1.57 million grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). This funding originates from the Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund and specifically from their Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction (INSR) grant. The grant aims to support the Rappahannock River Roundtable efforts in river restoration and protection, including implementing pollution reduction practices, involving communities in conservation, and improving the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem’s health and sustainability.

Regional Grant Funding Announcement

The Rappahannock River Roundtable is thrilled to announce a planning and technical assistance grant award of $60,996 from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS) and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) Chesapeake Watershed Investments for Landscape Defense (WILD) grant program. The objective of this project is to encourage innovation and increase the potential for land conservation and public access within the Rappahannock River watershed. This will be accomplished by establishing a workgroup focused on conservation and public access facilitated by the Rappahannock River Roundtable. With the opportunity to bring together all organizations and partners engaged in land conservation and preserving wildlife habitats throughout the Rappahannock River Basin.
